Quarantine Customer of the Week: Debbie💕

Fashion is a story, a personal story about ourselves. The artistic decisions we make everyday in how we choose to dress ourselves opens up a little window into our personality and character- and perhaps even a little view of our soul.

Some of our favorite moments at the shop are when our customers come in to tell us about their colorful stories in their Isabella clothing. A dinner party, a successful business presentation. A job interview, a Vegas trip. A gala, an art gallery, a ballet, an opera. Prom night, high school graduation. A funny first date, a wedding. Family Thanksgiving, a Christmas work party. New Years Eve…to Easter Sunday- there’s always a good story. We love to hear them!

The days of quarantine have made us miss the days of displaying our creativity through dress. But we can still share our past OOTD (outfit of the day)…

We thought we would take the opportunity to inspire each other by showcasing some of our favorite moments with our Isabella Boutique wardrobes. Featured today is our longtime customer Debbie. Some of you may even recognize her from working at the store!

A little bio from the Lady herself ~
I’m English and a little Dutch. I moved to California in 1992 after meeting my husband, Bart at a wedding in England. It was love at first sight- he proposed after a few weeks!
My husband grew up in Sunnyvale. We bought the house he grew up in and raised our kids here. I’m a proud mom of 4 amazing kids. I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom watching them grow up. Lots of precious memories.
I’ve always loved fashion! I worked in retail in London during my late teens and early 20s I also modeled from time to time. Ballet was also a passion of mine. I still dance to keep fit, I also enjoy all kinds of working out from Pilates to kickboxing.
I’ve been happily married to Bart for 28 years. We always went downtown Sunnyvale for date nights and would pop into the boutique often and became friends with Rosimeire. All my dresses are from Isabella Boutique.
And it’s also where Bart shops for gifts for me.
Being a mom never stopped me from wanting to be stylish and enjoy fashion! It makes you feel good and I like to express my own personality in my style. I am now 51 and still enjoy it, that will never change!💕👗🌸

One of favorite date night outfits this cute top, dressed up with accessories from Isabellas Boutique to make it unique. I had lots of people stop me and say, “where did you get that top?!” Seems to always happen when I wear something from Rosimeire’s wonderful collection. It’s the only place my husband wants to shop for me, celebrating 28 years now <3

So much fun, felt like pretty women! A day at the races with a polka dot dress and hat from Isabellas Boutique!

This dress I’ve worn to a few family events and it’s a show stopper. Honestly everyone says Wow! Makes me feel glamorous but it’s so soft and comfortable. It’s been perfect for travel, it never wrinkles- just effortless.....Thank you Isabellas Boutique!
